Relient K have contributed two new covers, and have three songs that are covered by other artists, on the newly released Gotee Records: Twenty Years Brand New. The compilation features past and present Gotee Records and Mono VS Stereo artists contributing covers of songs by fellow Gotee artists. Relient K have three songs that are covered - Jamie Grace covers "Getting Into You", Stephanie Smith does "I Celebrate the Day" and Zilch covers "Over Thinking". Relient K also provide a cover of "Body Be" (originally performed by Johnny Q. Public) as well as a 10 year reunion cover of their own track "Sadie Hawkins Dance". Dave Douglas, Relient K's former drummer, is being interviewed on The Hive 99.5 show "Crown of Thorns" next Friday 28th February. Head over to tunein.com to listen to the show. (Search "WCYJ"). My show is from 10- midnight eastern time and the interview will be within the first hour. The interview will cover his current band Attack Cat as well as his time in Relient K.
